50.Quthing (FXQG)
Lesotho. Officially the Kingdom of Lesotho, is an enclaved country within the border of South Africa. It is by far the largest of the world's three independent states completely surrounded by the territory of another country, with Vatican City and San Marino being the other two.

51.Johannesburg (FAOR)
Johannesburg, informally known as Jozi, Joburg, or "The City of Gold" is the largest city in South Africa, classified as a megacity, and is one of the 50 largest urban areas in the world. The city was established in 1886 following the discovery of gold on what had been a farm. Due to the extremely large gold deposit found along the Witwatersrand, within ten years, the population had grown to 100,000 inhabitants.

52.Beline (FQBI)
Bilene, also known as Praia do Bilene, is a town in southern Mozambique, lying 140 kilometres northeast of Maputo in the province of Gaza. It is known as a beach resort, lying on the Mozambique Channel. Noted for its calm and clear lagoon, the Uembje Lagoon, giving way to the pounding Indian Ocean beyond tall dunes, it is reported to be the closest beach destination to the city of Johannesburg in neighboring South Africa.

53.Paradise Island (FQBE)
Santa Carolina (Paradise Island) is an isolated island with an abandoned resort situated between Bazaruto Island and the town of Vilankulo on the Mozambique main land. Still standing, this building has been abandoned since 1973. Like much of Mozambique’s architecture, there is a distinct art-deco influence. Paradise Island became famous in the sixties, when people like Bob Dylan and Elton John visited the island. The first floor of the ruin has a breathtaking view over the ocean.

54.Antsirabe (FMME)
Our departure point with the rental aircraft is in the city of Tolagnaro on the southeast coast. We'll make our way inland visiting various remote communities. This is mountainous terrain so be very aware of your surroundings especially if there are low lying clouds in the area. As we continue up the central part of Madagascar we will plan to finish our route in Antsirabe the third largest city in Madagascar.

55.Maroantsetra (FMNR)
Madagascar has so many amazing places to visit. It would be nice to stay, however we have a mission to circumnavigate the earth. So this adventure will have to end here. We're on our way out of Antsirabe for Maroantsetra. Formerly named Louisbourg, is a market town and domestic seaport in Analanjirofo Region, Madagascar, at the northern end of the Bay of Antongil. In 2005 it had an estimated population of 22,503 people.

56.Honde Valley (FVNG)
The valley is part of the Eastern Highlands. The average altitude of Honde Valley is around 900m above sea-level as compared to its immediate surroundings which rise above 1800m. This abrupt drop in topography creates the spectacular Mtarazi and adjacent Muchururu Falls, local tourist attractions.

57.Mwanja River (FLLL)
Today we will head towards the Zambezi river. On the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia. You can expect hilly terrain during a good portion of the flight. We will finish our day at the Mwanja River Airport. A dirt strip that we can camp at. We'll all have to work together to keep the wildlife at bay.

58.Monkey Bay (FWMY)
The part of Africa now known as Malawi was settled around the 10th century by migrating Bantu groups. Centuries later, in 1891, the area was colonized by the British and became a protectorate of the United Kingdom known as Nyasaland. The Republic of Malawi, is a landlocked country in southeastern Africa. It is bordered by Zambia to the west, Tanzania to the north and northeast, and Mozambique to the east, south and southwest.

59.Njombe (HTNJ)
Along the way we will cross over Ngorongoro Crater one of the world's most astonishing and renowned natural wonders. We will continue on our way with a visit to Likoma Island and a fly over of Kitesa Forest. Our plan is to finish up at Njombe. Among the top tourism sites in Njombe region are the Nyumba Nitu natural forest, currently under conservation and management of local communities. Nyumba Nitu, meaning a Black house, consists of natural caves and a natural forest located at Mlevela village in Mdandu ward, approximately 15 kilometers away from Njombe Township.
