While not an exhaustive list of our stops. These pages will provide some insight on the start and end points of each section of the journey. This may change frequently as interesting areas are discovered or external factors force us in a different direction.
200.Ningbo (ZSNB)
Day 200 is upon us. The first flight of 2024. I suspect we will be seeing lots of changes this year in the sim world. Let's work on getting back to North America. Today we're headed back to the coast to Ningbo, just south of Shanghai. As usual we have lots of cruising today and will continue flying our faster equipment for the next while. Ningbo's prominent landmarks include Tianyi Pavilion, one of China's oldest libraries, showcasing ancient texts and gardens. Visitors can explore the streets of Old Bund, lined with colonial-style buildings and bustling markets, offering glimpses of Ningbo's maritime history.

201.Linya (ZSLY)
We're on our way. A few more flights left in China. Today we'll be departing Ningbo and arriving in Linyi. The ancient city boasts historical sites such as the Yinqueshan Han Tombs, featuring well-preserved Han Dynasty artifacts and intricate carvings. Visitors can explore Mengshan Mountain, revered for its scenic landscapes, including cliffs, temples, and a giant Buddha statue carved into the rock face.

202.Beijing (ZBAA)
Back to the big city. On day 202 we will land in Beijing, China. Beijing, the capital of China, is a city that seamlessly blends ancient history with modernity, offering a wealth of cultural, historical, and contemporary attractions. The iconic Forbidden City, an imperial palace from the Ming to Qing dynasties, stands as a testament to China's imperial history, while the nearby Tiananmen Square, one of the world's largest city squares, is both historic and symbolic.

203.Ponbu-dong (ZKUI)
Strap on your tinfoil hats, we're heading to North Korea. To get access we need as much product from China as possible to appease the supreme leader. Be creative with your cargo and let us know what you're bringing. We will be landing overnight in Ponbu-dong. Due to the closed nature of the country, doesn't have much information available to the outside world. North Korea, in general, is known for its secretive regime and limited access for foreign visitors.

204.Incheon (RKSI)
Somehow we've been asked to leave our machines in North Korea. It might be an issue getting them back. We have been given the go ahead to ship our bush planes to continue our way into South Korea. Specifically Incheon. Serving as a major international gateway with Incheon International Airport, the city offers attractions such as Chinatown, a bustling district known for its vibrant markets and delicious Korean-Chinese cuisine. The Incheon Grand Bridge, connecting Yeongjong Island to the mainland, provides stunning views of the surrounding coastal area.

205.Jukbyeon-ri (RKTL)
Since there are more short strips available east of Incheon, we're going to spend the day heading east near the boarder. We'll finish our flight in a small rural community called Jukbyeon-ri. While it may not be widely known for tourist attractions, the area offers a tranquil escape from urban life, with serene landscapes and a slower pace of living. Visitors can explore the surrounding countryside, dotted with fields, forests, and small streams, providing opportunities for hiking, nature walks, and birdwatching. The village may also offer glimpses of traditional Korean rural life, with quaint houses, local markets, and friendly residents. While Jukbyeon-ri may not have major tourist landmarks, its charm lies in its simplicity and natural beauty, making it a peaceful destination for those seeking relaxation and a glimpse of authentic rural South Korean life.

206.Ojika (RJDO)

207.Hiroshima (RJOA)
Japan is one of the most anticipated places to visit on the journey. We've arrived at the southern end of this magnificent country. Today we're headed to Hiroshima. Located in the western part of Japan's Honshu Island, is a city steeped in history, resilience, and vibrant culture. While tragically known for being the target of the world's first atomic bomb attack during World War II, Hiroshima has risen from the ashes to become a symbol of peace and reconciliation. The Peace Memorial Park and Museum stand as powerful reminders of the devastation wrought by the atomic bomb, offering poignant exhibits and memorials dedicated to the victims. Visitors can also explore the iconic Atomic Bomb Dome, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that serves as a haunting yet hopeful symbol of peace.

208.Nagoya (RJNA)
We're departing Hiroshima for Nagoya today. This should be a nice flight with various points of interest to explore. Nagoya, located in central Japan's Aichi Prefecture. The city is home to Nagoya Castle, a reconstructed fortress that offers visitors a glimpse into Japan's feudal past with its impressive architecture and surrounding gardens. The city's modern skyline is adorned with iconic landmarks like the Nagoya TV Tower and Oasis 21, while the nearby Nagoya Port offers waterfront attractions and entertainment options.

209.Tokyo (RJTT)
Off to the massive city of Tokyo, Japan. We'll get to see some great terrain today and island airports. For a glimpse into Japan's pop culture scene, neighborhoods like Harajuku and Akihabara offer a wide array of shops selling everything from anime and manga to electronic gadgets. With its dynamic energy, diverse neighborhoods, and endless array of attractions, Tokyo offers visitors an unforgettable experience in the heart of Japan.
